Back to Buenos Aires so we can return to Ushuaia on Jan 29th

We are packed by 8:30am with a bit of internet time before we check out at 10am and head for the Ushuaia Airport. It is another perfectly clear day in Ushuaia as we hope it will be when we return on the 29th. The flight is 3 1/2 hours to Buenos Aires leaving at 12:30pm and hopefully landing by 4 or 4:30pm. We expect to be met by someone from OATS at the airport to bring us to our new hotel where we will meet up with our Antarctica group on the 27th in the afternoon. We will have almost 2 days on our own before the next adventure begins.

The Ushuaia "International" airport was a breeze to check in and go through security. Flight took off on time and 3 hours later we landed in Buenos Aires in 88 degree weather again. We were brought to our new hotel which is very nice and only a few blocks away from our previous hotel so we are still familiar with the neighborhood. It will be nice to be in one hotel now for 4 nights so we can get laundry done and repack for returning to Ushuaia on Sunday to begin phase 2 of our South American adventure embarking on the World Explorer that will take us to Antarctica.

This morning wake to a beautiful sunny day and are beginning to plot our own exploration of Buenos Aires - perhaps on a free walking tour!
